La Valencia Fashion Week se ha abierto con la alianza de pintores españoles y latinos encabezada por Manuel Fernández. Moda y pintura se aúnan para presentar unos diseños muy vivos, llenos de colores y con numerosos matices folk relacionados con las raíces de cada uno de sus colaboradores. Diseños pintorescos, que transmiten mucha alegría y que nos presentan vestidos voluminosos, kimonos y minivestidos.
Aurelia Gil es una de las propuestas más cercanas al pret-a-porter del día. Reinventando a una, muy personal, Alicia en el país de las maravillas, nos presenta unos diseños muy femeninos, que se adaptan a la figura y la realzan. Especial atención a los colores nude, azul navy y blanco, que han copado la totalidad de la colección. Cinturas al aire y juego de volúmenes. En cuanto a tejidos, destaca especialmente el uso de sedas, algodones y puntillas para reconvertir a Alicia en una mujer sexy y urbana pero también romántica.
Uno de los énfant terrible de la moda española, el vasco Sinpatron, nos presente una nueva tribu, los Sinoux, cosmopolita y urbana. Prehistoria y Nueva York mezclados que dan lugar a una de las colecciones más impactantes y visuales. Burkas masculinos, flechas, mallas… El hombre y la mujer volviendo a su estado más natural. Looks muy trabajados, con mucho detalle y que juega con los extremos corto versus largo. Mucho oversize, zapatillas de deporte y trajes de baño.
Una de las grandes sorpresas de la jornada inicial han sido la colección Je regrette de Zazo & Brull. La última parte de su desfile, con propuestas total black, dejó claro que esta pareja de creadores llega para quedarse. Formas vertiginosas, bolsillos imposibles, estampados elegantes… Simetría y estructuras equilibradas son los principales ingredientes de esta colección basada en el sentido de la vida, olvidar y continuar.
Maya Hansen, una de las cabezas de cartel de la pasarela valenciana mostró al público sus nuevas creaciones basadas en sus ya míticos corsés que han lucido con estilo famosas como Pilar Rubio o Paula Vázquez. Una colección donde prima, como es habitual, lo femenino, con mucho encaje y chantilly. Dominan los colores pastel y el negro sobre tejidos de raso, tul y organiza. La mujer inventada por Hansen es atrevida, sexy y provocativa.
En ocasiones las colecciones no son tan efectivas como las puestas en escena. Este es el caso de Tonuca con su colección Desdefilé Zero, donde la música y la performance no han suplido el vacío de una colección algo escasa de originalidad. Una larga colección de vestidos, en B&N, aguamarina y grises perla, que al principio, en su vertiente más cercana a la sastrería ha convencido, pero a lo largo del desfile se ha ido desinflando. Looks sobrios y lánguidos que no han convencido entre la crítica aunque parece haber entusiasmado al público.
París fue el principal referente para la colección presentada por Alex Vidal, uno de los niños favoritos de la VFW. Abrigos, capas, trench… Una primavera-verano muy abrigada. Mucho volumen y aparición de cuadros y rayas combinadas con tejidos lisos. Los colores blanco, azul y morado para el día y el gris perla para una noche con mucho satén.
Cierra la jornada el diseñador Joaquim Verdú presentando una colección de noche total black.
Bueno, errata, es Verdú.
